Pomice Stoltzfus has a BS in Music from Temple University and a MM in Composition from Peabody Conservatory, Johns Hopkins. Her compositions have been performed in the Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Lancaster Areas. She has been teaching Composition, Music Theory, and Piano Performance for thirty plus years. She taught at the Lancaster Conservatory, State Street Studio and Harrisburg Area Community College. Her experience has allowed her to develop clear teaching strategies that afford students to retain and apply compositional technique in a wide range of styles (modern classical to songwriting).
