Zachary Veilleux is a local musician, composer and educator. His exploration into the world of sound began in the womb and continued, formally, ten years later with piano lessons, followed by guitar studies and experiments with sound collage (still an obsession). Zachary’s formal musical education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University as well as graduate credits in composition from West Chester University. Zachary has had eighteen years’ teaching experience through private piano and guitar lessons. He also taught music for five years at St. Leo the Great Elementary School. As an educator Zachary seeks to facilitate the intuitive experience of music as a language.
