Lauren Fairfull

A native of Lancaster County, oboist Lauren Fairfull holds dual bachelor’s degrees in music performance and education from West Chester University and a master’s degree in music performance from The Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University for which she was awarded a full scholarship. During her time at these institutions Ms. Fairfull performed in many ensembles as principle oboist and featured soloist. She has embarked on several orchestral and chamber tours throughout Europe and the States, which included performances at Carnegie Hall in New York City and The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. She is currently the principle oboist of the Allegro Orchestra of Lancaster and second oboist and English Horn of the Liberty Wind Symphony in Philadelphia while continuing to perform with local groups; Lancaster and York Symphonies, The Pennsylvania Philharmonic, and The Fulton Theatre among others. Ms. Fairfull currently resides in Lancaster with her husband and daughter.

Robin Plant​

Robin Plant currently serves as principal bassoonist with the Lancaster Symphony, York Symphony, Pennsylvania Regional Ballet, and Endless Mountain Music Festival Orchestras. She has been featured as a soloist with the Lancaster Symphony, York Symphony, Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and Endless Mountain Music Festival. She also frequently performs with other ensembles including Harrisburg Symphony, Delaware Symphony, Gettysburg Chamber Orchestra, Allegro Chamber Orchestra, and Manor Winds. Robin received her formal training on bassoon while pursuing her Bachelor of Music in performance at Indiana University, where her principal teacher was Kim Walker. When not absorbed with bassoon and music, she is usually knitting.
